Default WON TOC tough bite!

Just talked to some friends who had 3 fish for 3 lbs today in the TOC. 1st is 13lb with a 11lb big fish, 2nd 11 lbs with a 9 lb big fish. OUCH

Looks like they had less boats with the "new improved" combined TOC than they had at either the north or south toc over the last few years.

16.11 for 2 days wins... And it wasn't the guys with the 11 pounder on day one... Wild!!

Not a lot of weight but, still a gorgeous area of the state and a pretty level playing field.

I have always heard New Melones was tough in the Fall - but, great in the spring - I hope that is accurate.

No matter where they hold the event - the fishing is the same for everyone. Heard there were some big fish caught!

If you ask me - I would rather fish a 55 boat event than a 150 boat event any day and even if its on a tougher body of water. Especially when first place is 2 motors or a boat or 20k - 1st out of 55 is a lot better odds then 1st out of 150 boats.

Amen Tom.Always tough until turnover. November can be insane on this lake.Wish I had a crack at this one..The bite has been tough, lots of suspneders. Congrats to the winners.
