Re: This is Classic!!
Sad, but true for most. As long as they get a boat for 30 percent off and are able to sell it at the end of a season,(most lose money on the deal) the boat companies will keep offering these so called pro deals. Its kind of funny actually. In any other sport you would get a few boats/cars/motorcycles/trucks whatever it may be for the season and through out as stuff breaks. when the season is over you give what didnt break back and the manufacturer deals with them. Here, we get to pay for the boat with our credit, use it, break it, devalue it and then hopefully sell it and not lose anything because they got 30 percent off. Then IF you sell it and IF you did your job to the fullest, you get to do it all over again. ON YOUR CREDIT. They, the manufacturers, have nothing on the line, lose nothing at all and could give a rats behind if you lose your house in the process of dealing with this great sponsorship they offer. We need some new blood in these boat companies and i dont see it happening in this sport. It is what it is so make the best of it and hopefully you come out ahead at the end of the season. Which doesnt happen for anyone but the boat companies and the few that actually get the true pro deal.
