Default Fisherman's Warehouse

I was sitting outside their door in Manteca tonight trying to decide if I had time to go i'n tonight. The wife said if I did that I had to take her to a vegetable stand down the road afterwards. Did I miss a good tackle store?

Yes you did. All tackle stores are good, just some are better than others. Fisherman's warehouse has been around a long time and has just about everything. Beats BPS.

Kinda in my neck of the woods Greg.
I have been into Fishermans Warehouse (Delta Bait and Tackle) maybe three times in 7 years. Every time rudeness greats me at the door. No one helps you, no one asks to help you, no one says hello etc. If you ask a question, they treat you like you dummy, it's right over there, or don't you know ! They all stand around and talk to each other or have their own click going on and it is a inconvienence to be bothered.
Sorry, thats my three time expierence there, have not been back there in a few years.
Granzella's is good for sure, but I think it's not as good as it was before the fire.

Jigs - gotta agree with you about the Manteca store. I was in the area either earlier this year or late last year with my family and my wife made the comment that they were not very nice compared to the Cupertino store. They also didn't seem to be very clued into newer trends as I asked if they had a couple items (which I knew they had based on the Cupertino store) and they were clueless.

I'll stick to OPS, Hook and the Cupertino Fisherman's before I ever step back into the Manteca store.

Sounds like some firing and hiring needs to be done. Granzellas is just as good but more than twice as expensive. A two piece fish and chips dinner $17.00 good God, that's a $7-$8 meal at best. Thank goodness they had a senior member.

I've been in the Manteca store probably 20 times and never had an issue with rudeness. They have a great selection off tackle. I'm not there to make friends, I'm there to buy stuff and go fishing.

You don't like to be served in a friendly helpful environment?
