Default The Good ol days

I have been around fishing for many many years and I must say theing have drasticly changed.......

I remember when Green Maxima was all you ever needed for every application......

I remember when throwing a jerkbait meant you were throwing a rattlin rougue or a rapala.......

I remember when good crank baits were 3 bucks each.

I remember when they only made two models of left handed baitcasters.

I remember when there were no swimbaits........

Fishing sure has changed.......

I remember all of our lakes were so full of crappy and bluegill you could catch them all day every day till you were tired of catching them. Now you cant catch one here in our bay area lakes unless your lucky. Humm wonder what happened? I emagine a few reasons. I also remember the lakes were crystal clear and litter free. You could go to the lake as an 8 year old by yourself and your parents wouldnt have to worry about you getting kidnapped. I also remember the days being able to leave my fishing tackle on the porch and nobody messed with it. We could leave our front door as well as the car doors unlocked and didnt have to worry about someing ripping us off. And if we cuaght a prowler as rare as they were and beat their a$$ we wouldnt get in trouble, they would. Ahh the good old days. Sure wish they could make it back because this society sucks.
