Default Safety Question

In my Pontoon, I'll leave my trolling motor on constant, but not on a flat boat or anything easy to fall out of. I heard the guy they found had his motor on constant so after he fell in the boat took off.

Personally I think its a horrible idea while fishing alone.

Default Re: Safety Question

Easy answer. Wear your friggin inflatable, and especially when your by yourself. I was out in middle river a couple summers ago and slipped and fell, smacked my noodle on the top cap trying to stay in. Don't know what else happened but I was floating on my back and my boat was 200 yards away when I went swimming for it. All I know is wear your jacket or inflatable all the time, and if your going in, don't be a ***** and get some clearance. I'm good though since fat floats. Last time I fell out I bounced to the bank dry as a bone.

Second note if I find any of you floating without your PFD I'm giving you a Benz mender and sinking your a## and not losing a day of fishing. J//k
