First time we have been out fishing, just the two of us. She had a blast. I guess I better take her a much as I can, while she still thinks dad is the coolest guy EVER! We all know that's not gonna last. The force is strong in this one. She already wants to fish tournaments!

Nice, I first took my son when he was just about 3. I tossed out a plastic worm on one of my spinning rods and handed it to him. When he got bit it freaked him out so bad he threw down the rod and I had to go wading. Good times. He has a family now and I can't wait to take out my grandson; he's going to be 3 this month.
Nice fish!! Priceless picture and a lifetime of memories. I cant wait till my little girl is old enough to actually fish. We have had her in the boat 6 or 7 times already and she is 18 months old. I would have to say that you got your picture today you were wanting. congratulations!!!

That's awesome! Not sure if you've heard the song "just fishin" by trace adkins but it's about fishing with your little one and spending time with them....I love it when im able to take my little one with me!
Great Picture! I have been saying these words to my Grandson since he was born-You want to go fishing with Poppy? He is 11 months today. I have been saying for six months now that when he turns 1 year old I am going to get him his first fishing rod and reel.
After my Grand Daughter was born. I made sure that she was not afraid of worms. So we could go fishing. Well she now loves all kinds of bugs but can care less about fishing. So I am trying a different approach with my Grandson. I hope it works. LOL.
