yeah but with very little fanfare this time . Usually before the FLW
comes to town for a tournament there is all kinds of chatter from
people who want to find a partner and get entered before the registration cutoff but this time its been strangely silent. Will bad economy & high gas prices =
low turnout?

Not to mention the 100+/- boats that will be out fishing the WRL along side these guys on Saturday....Should make for some interesting situations!!!

Yep it's pretty amazing how 1000 miles of water turns into a pond when there are 2 or 3 big tournaments on it. It's even more annoying when those spots you've been figuring out for months get snipered by passing traffick (neck breakers). I used to always wonder why the locals at clear lake fished w/ a little chip on there shoulder? It's becoming apparent why, don't fish up to your favorite spot as you will be jumped when you least expect it! GO STRAIGHT FOR THE MEAT!!!!!!!!!

Add to all those facts - it's mother's day weekend...

It'll be interesting to see the turnout!

I may be cracked but from what I have been seeing on the river a good majority of the fish are in post spawn transition and the weights could be lower than expected.Just a hunch but I could be wrong.

On the FLW website 127 Pro's and 127 Co's. not bad for being one of the worst economic times ever!
