My thoughts are be careful of floating debris on these lakes if you out fishing them.

The good part is the surrounding hills/mountains are well saturated and all the rain now is running off into the lake and the level will continue to rise, even when it stops raining in between storms.

I just looked at the Cache Creek Dam release and it is only at 8 CFS, which means the majority of run off from Seigler Creek entering Cache Creek is actually backflowing into the main lake.

All fifteen tributaries are flowing big time into the lake. Rock2

802 PM PST SAT FEB 21 2009

...SIGNIFICANT STORM SYSTEM EXPECTED TO IMPACT CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
TONIGHT INTO MONDAY WITH STRONG WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN...

...HEAVIEST RAINFALL ANTICIPATED OVER AREAS OF THE NORTH BAY...

A ROBUST PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM LOCATED 500 MILES OFF THE CALIFORNIA
COAST WILL SPREAD MOISTURE THROUGH THE ENTIRE SAN FRANCISCO AND
MONTEREY BAY REGION TONIGHT. SATELLITE IMAGERY IS INDICATING THIS
STORM SYSTEM IS TAPPING INTO A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF SUB-TROPICAL
MOISTURE...AND THIS WILL HELP TO PRODUCE AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL.
THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL OVER REGIONS OF THE
NORTH BAY.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN THE NORTH BAY WILL RANGE FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES
FOR URBAN AND VALLEY LOCATIONS...WHILE HIGHER ELEVATIONS COULD SEE
AS MUCH AS 3 TO 5 INCHES THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON. EXPECT THE
HEAVIEST DOWNPOURS TO OCCUR DURING THE DAY SUNDAY.

OTHER URBAN AND LOW LYING AREAS OF THE SAN FRANCISCO AND MONTEREY
BAYS WILL GENERALLY SEE RAINFALL AMOUNTS FROM ONE HALF TO 1.5
INCHES. WHILE HIGHER LOCATIONS WILL SEE 2 TO 3 INCHES...WITH THE
GREATEST AMOUNTS OVER THE SANTA CRUZ AND SANTA LUCIA MOUNTAINS.

STRONG WINDS OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS CAN ALSO BE ANTICIPATED. AS THE
STORM APPROACHES SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL INTENSIFY WITH SUSTAINED WINDS
20 TO 30 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH FOR AREAS ABOVE 1000 FEET. THE
STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY MORNING.

DUE TO THE FACT THE RAIN IS FALLING ON SOIL THAT IS ALREADY WET
FROM THE RECENT STORM SYSTEM...PERSONS NEAR LOW-LYING AREAS THAT
ARE PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE LATEST WEATHER
FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION IF WATCHES OR WARNINGS
ARE ISSUED FOR FLOODING OR DEBRIS FLOWS.
