I talked to Gary Watts about the Rookie division. $1350 in and $300 first, $200 second, $100 third that is $600. That means WON is keeping $750 off the top which is over 55%. That is one **** of a commision. Gary told me it went to Won and toward the end of the year tourney. I only was going to fish the two CL rookies but will not be fishing them anymore. I would love to see the pro payout. We were 5th and got $135 for fifth and $40 for 5th in the red white and blue option. We came in 3rd and 5th in two days going all in and lost $135 not including expenses. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

come fish aba delta the payout is 82% and the money taken out goes to the toc..... if you enter no options we still pay cash to 25th place at our toc....... no entry fee..... and if you want to see who is in the options and what the payout is...... we can show you that.......

If I was to choose one circuit it would be ABA. I fish Clear Lake and the paybacks are great.

You are welcome to see the options and payouts at my events. Just ask after the awards.

As far as Rookie payback, It costs WON the same amount to run a team event no matter if the entry is $90 or $150 or whatever. The lower entry fee is the trade off on the payback. the only way within my power to counter that is get a trophy sponsor on board to offset that cost. I have had some discussion with Bass Pro about them coming in as a sponsor after the first of the year. I am not sure if it will be money towards payback, money towards entry fees, or just product. I don't know when I will hear more on it but once I do I will provide an update.
