what a waste of a million dollars. they already have the nicest ramp around. thats just nonsense if you ask me. They need to spend that money and work on the darn roads around here. Not the perfectly good launch ramp that 5 people use a day.

Unfortunately the The Department of Boating and Waterways doesn't pay for street repair. They can still get grants for that.

Brandon.

i know Greg. Theres just a lot more use for that money up here other than fixing a perfectly good ramp. Hey i have an idea, lets put the money to testing what chemical it is that comes from the vineyards that makes the water nasty all summer long. That might help. heck nobody even uses the ramp theyre spending that million on cause the lake smells like a water treatment plant for 9 months out of the year. im just rambling.

According to the article, the city of Clear Lake requested the grant and they plan to improve security by adding lighting in the parking area. Sounds good to me?

Lets se, a million bucks for lighting, dredging and a courtesy dock. Wheres the rest of the money going? I'm in the wrong business.... I need to be in local government........... . I'll probably be sanctioned for that comment. Oh well, it is what it is.......... I only calls 'em as I see 'em.

Richard, they might spend it on plumbing to spray the algae away. Turn in your app.
