Its not from the trout its from the pollution. When I was a kid my parents paid me a dime a frog to catch them out our pond becase there were so many and were so loud croaking we couldnt hear the TV. We still have the same pond but with no frogs. We never planted any fish in the pond that would eat the pollywogs or frogs so that theory is a bust. I hope they re-think that

Are these reservoirs not man-made anyway??? I'm pretty sure there are just as many frogs there now as there were when they were just creeks.

other than the OBVIOUS problem with this... ( millions of dollars being PISSED abay in the court system in stead of on our school system ) what about the IMPACT on Bass... most of those trout lakes are secrets for us locals on catching 10 lb + donkeys.... with the reduction of trout maybe trout swim baits will become like gold.... Big bass are acustomed to eating trout, no more trout plants, they see a trout ( swim bait ) they wont think twice.... just lots of food for thought,,,, even though it pisses me off to no end that these tree hugging homos have that much POWER that they can keep pulling this SH!T off.....

Are the frogs themselves even native? And I'm sure the trout are NOT the only fish eating frog eggs. I bet blue gill do the most damage when it comes to that. The private lakes are still being stocked, and I think all others will start as soon as this B#^*&$#@ is over.

Some here may remember the glory days of Spring Lake in Santa Rosa. That little lake kicked out more 10+ fish than any body of water I know, including two potential (and highly doubtful) world records. They stopped the trout planting a few years ago because of the budget, and now... a 5 lber is a rare trophy, double digit fish are ALMOST non-existant, and teens... forget it, they are not there anymore.
