Somebody broke into a pickup up there yesterday if your parking on day use side bottom ramp make or east side bottom ramp be sure you leave nothing in your cars or trucks they can see for them to take. A ditial camera and cell phone were taken.And they the rangers dont patrol the ramps but about every couple of hours or so during the week. So beware if your fishing up there. THE CAR THAT WAS SEEN SPEEDING AWAY WAS A LIGHT OR WHITE COLOR COMPACT.
Great....When I go there, and the lake is so small, I'm always looking up at the parking area to check on things out of habit. Now I'll make an extra effort.....not that it'll do much good by the time I can get there but I will do my best.
Mark is right about leaving valuables in your vehicles. If they can be seen....your just asking for trouble.
They have cell phones now that have gps built is so that you know where family or friends are at....Wouldn't it be great to use it to find the POS trash that stole the phone.....
Most of this kinda stuff go's on during the week when there no traffic but on the weekend the rangers are out on partol it stay pretty clam and the fishing is starting to pickup also.
With all the high res cameras out nowadays there is no excuse. You can get 2 days of recording in hi def quality on a dvr. Start using technology and watch crime go down.

The easist way to stop this s%^t is when you tow your $50,000.00 ranger bassboat to the lake hookup to and old rust bucket of a pickup that after you shut it off it wont start unless u jump it and doors locking of course no dvd players or stero systems in sight that well detour anybody from messing with your truck.Now your trailers another story.
