Seriously considering buying new graph. Does anybody own one and if so how do you like it?

I have the HDS-5 at the drivers console and the HDS-7 on the bow (I spend more time on the bow), I love them both. Sometimes I wish I had a 7 on the console, But for my boat (Ranger 177Tr) the 5 is just fine. I'm sure come this spring I just might change my mind and by a 7 for the console as well. Especially if I add the side scan feature.

Thanks you guys for your comments. It sounds like the HDS-7 with the larger screen might be the way to go.
Thanks Again

I have the Lowrance HD7, and I can't imagine using a smaller screen. I also bought and installed the structure scan. The larger screens are even more important with structure scan.
The Lowrance depth sounder and Gps are awesome, the maps are disaapointing...and if you plan on upgrading with navionic be sure to read the list of covered lakes...a bit scant in California.

If you go with the HDS5 and intend to put in a structure scan later make sure you go with the Nautic Insight or the Lake unit. The HDS base units will not share way points and other info.
I have the HDS5's in stock if you are interested. We also do the installation of them
