Default Delta Frog fishing

Would like to take the wife down for a day on the Delta, closest places for us is Ladds or Tracy's. Would there be anyplace she could catch her first top water Bass on a Frog in those areas without running all over the Delta and getting (lost)? Just sounds like fun and we never have done it before. I just love watching her catch a Bass!
Thank you in advance
Jigs

Jigs,

Launch at Ladds, get on the trolling motor and fish the West rock wall with the wood, and around those boat docks, when you get up to the mouth of the marina look to the point on the east, the inside and across the point. The next cove over, I call sailboat cove this is typically matted up and holds fish.

Other then that the hippie grass and red leaf on the main river can start to look good with a white frog now that the shad are moving around

Cool, thanks guys. This should be fun, I hope she hooks up with a Bass , one at least. If it works out, I will post a picture. We probably won't go for a week or two. Fish awhile, find a place to stop rest and eat, and head home before it gets to hot for her. (and me)!!
