An inexpensive photo booth for product photos

If you guys with tackle shops and you lure makers want to save some money and do your own photos, I found a nice way to make a back yard photo booth. You can make something like this out of PVC pipe. Richard Da Plumber made this for me. Get a single sized bed sheet and throw it over the top and it diffuses the light perfectly. Set it in direct sunlight and sit yourself in the shade while you shoot. The north side of a building is good. Get some colored photo paper and arc it from the back top support bar anchoring it with tape at both ends.

I use it for photos of my eBay items.

Looks good Greg, What about shaddows, does it still have any? I have been using the sky this summer for my background, and still have to edit out the sky blue.
Thanks
Phil

That's what the sheet is for Phil. it diffuses the light. Look at both photos. those are the shadows from direct sunlight. I think you get a warmer feel for a product with a shadow, if the shadow is faint and subtle as in these photos. The elimination of shadow takes the feeling of depth away and I think the feeling of depth adds to a photo.

Looks like crap, are you a paid sponsor of this site? I'm just wondering if your possibly trying to sell us this?
