Default River monsters!

Have you guys watched rivermonsters? It's my favorite fishing show next to the bass masters. This Jeremy wade guy is good. I can't wait until he gets bit. The current show on know is about the snakehead. Check it out if you haven't watched this show. He is fishing for snakeheads with a hornytoad. Looks fun!

He's not a great angler - but, it is an entertaining show. I definitely have it set on my DVR.

There was an episode on last week when he was fishing the Kali River in the foothills of the Himalaya's trying to catch Goonsh (sp.) catfish that had reportedly eaten people. Looked like a cross between a flathead catfish and a barracuda.

Really great show, a little repetative within each episode, but still a great show.

I have no doubt that goonch catfish is a man-eater. That was one scary looking fish. Did you see the huge fangs on that thing?

I watched the Snakehead episode with my daughter yesterday. The part where the spear fisherman speared one and it swam straight at him and the back of the spear went through his head and killed the guy was crazy stuff. Larry Dahlberg is the man though. Goonsh catfish looks like it could eat a person pretty easily. One toothy critter!!!
