Default Tami Curtis on Angler West

Watched Angler West today and there was Tami doing a little salmon fishing on the Feather. Seemed like they had a good day. It brought to mind that many of the folks on this site enjoy a variety of fishing adventures outside of strictly bass (although in many ways its still my favorite). Myself, I usually take a couple trips a year to the Eastern Sierra for trout (a five to six pound brown on light tackle in a moving river is a thrill) and to the Trinity for steelhead (arguably one of the best fighting fish, pound for pound) and I know of some of you who fish off shore and in the bays.

I know this site is Cal "Bassin" and I don't want to suggest it become a F.S. or I.H. type of site but would anyone consider having a Forum for "Other Fishing" or something similar so everyone can offer suggestions, ask questions, share experiences, etc.

Just a thought. Feel free to shoot it down.

I always look forward to steelhead season! I wish everyone could experience that battle at least once in their life.

If I don't fish for other fish, I get really burnt out on bass. A couple pro's I know will fish for other fish just for that reason.
I like the eastern sierra's as well for trout fishin.
One of my fave's is striper's on the beaches when they show for the small amount of time they do.
I may do the klamath next week for salmon and steelies.
Duck hunting in the winter, but I'll hit the Sac in October for salmon as long as they leave it open.
I'd love to head to alaska some day.
Living on Clear Lake, I really don't care much to fish other fisheries for bass, but if the bite gets much worse I may have to.
