Ranger guy go figure.....That is a dog....I hunt for yotes and that is 100% not one. That looks to be a lab of some sort...Coyotes have a longer nose and although they have been seen golden it is very rare.....
That's a coyote it's not a sucked up California dog but ot is a coyote .I have hunted them all my life also .I was paid by the farmers to stop the little beasts from eating drip lines.
Looks like a coyote to me his back is silver and has red on the head and feet surley not a Lab. the nose dosent look pointey enough but the photo is not great. If true I bet that catch will bring him lots of free drinks for a while.
