It's double tough, the girls are there alright just got to fool em', I usually stick to basic presentations, throwin' some curve balls now will help, these fish have seen it all, and they turn off quick when you turn ones head and reel em' in, the school goes south or gets lockjaw....Now if only I can ignite a school and get em' going like on Kentucky Lake , Life would be reel good..

Fairy wand, that is an insult to spinning rod fisherman I would much rather catch fish on level winds, good fisherman are versitile and the spin rod often comes into play especially this year obviously you haven't fished Clear Lake much this year. I truly understand the difference between bubba and sissy baits to come to the lake now and expect to power fish only might work or not..but don't talk down on the light liners.

Sorry if I have offended you Tony or any other angler. Me and some of my buddies have nicknamed spinning rods "Fairy Wands" just for laughs and stuff. I always have a couple on the deck cuz as you know they are a must during these tough days at Clear Lake and everywhere else. Hope to get em on a jig next weekend but if not 6lb test here I come!! Good luck.

No offence taken here, my jig bite died after catching too many catfish and not enough bass after that, my best catches were on worms deep I grew tired of spin gear fish tho they pulled hard an jumped alot . Look forward to the tick and bites on reaction baits with baitcasters. No worries good fish'n and good luck...
