Thanks to Dan Issac at reel-ex for the work on my reels. I dont remember my superfree's being this good when they were new. Those ceramics are smooth as glass and the new gears really made a huge differece.

Hey Basslayer - they probably weren't that good when they were new. Something tells me you might be on to something - buy used reels for 1/2 price and send them to Dan at Reelex and you'll end up with a better reel. Oh wait, Monster sells reels! Nevermind - buy new ones! but, if you do buy used reels and get Dan to supe them up - make sure you buy your rods from Monster! ha ha ha

I think your right about the used reels, but they always throw us a curve with the new stuff every year and eventually we can't help ourselves. So i guess dan and monster tackle both win in the end!!!!
