things can be a little intimidating for me any time i go to a new body of water that ive never fished before..when i moved from AZ and started fishing Casitas..boy was that a learning curve! i had never even fished a drop shot before and certainly hadnt seen water that clear outside of a swimming pool...

No. The only thing that I'd even worry about are navigational issues on a new body of water.

I agree 100% - I fished the 97' ABA South Team Classic with my brother in his 15.5' Astroglass with Merc 650. We tried to leave Calville bay and took 1 over the bow and then another as we turned around to fish Calville all day. We weighed in 1 2 pounder is all but learned that Mead needs a bigger boat. Very intimidating.

agreed...if I don't know of any hazards thats a bit scary...otherwise, big waves and weather, its not biggie! Although I was at the ABA TOC at Mead in 98 and day two of prefish it was blown out, 6-8 footers in our 18ft Ranger at the time...not intimidating, just plain and simple couldn't do it!

To Funny!!!

Clearlake with 40 mph winds.....Sounds like our TOC a couple years ago...I really fear no body of water...well maybe the Bearing Sea, but there are not any lil green fish there anyway, just red gold!!
