Elshere's Top Field at WON BASS Casitas Region 2/25
Absolutely beautiful conditions greeted 21 teams at the 2nd event on the WON BASS "Casitas Region" tour. Casitas veterans and fan favorites Larry Elshere and his son Eric Elshere topped the field with a monster 5 fish limit weighing 19.27 pounds and collected $1,950 in cash for the victory. 2nd place with 17.85 pounds and $950 in cash went to the always smiling team of Ron Hagen and his brother Chris Hagen. Tim Whitehouse and Paul Beppu were strong again finishing 3rd with 17.07 pounds and collected $600 in cash. 4th place went to Jason Christmann and Dennis Rodriguez as they collected $205 in cash with there 16.26 pounds of bass. One of the top moments at the awards ceremony was the team of 19 year old Cody Cook, and 12 year old Parker Marquez winning the big bass award and collecting a whopping $735 in cash for there 4.52 largemouth. .Outstanding........Outside of the box....I stayed off the water and did honey do's all day wondering if the morning bite was on today .I have the next week off so the gloves come off and I'm going to wrassel me sum green fish....You guys are on'm ...I hope the field left a few stones unturned for my first day on the water. great getting these rusults out that fast Rich...Kudos to an obviously first rate T.D.
