Default Swim jigs

Anyone have luck swimming jigs? Is it like a chatterbait, without the blade?

yea. When fishing a swim jig you wanna use it on matts and the cheese on top of the water. Make a hole in it and then flip your swim jig in there. Also they are great for pulling them through tulies that aren't that thick. On the south end of Jago Bay at Clear Lake is a perfect place to through swim jgs. There are weeds there that are perfect. They aren't to thick. Its kinda like frog fishing but below the water. A great place to buy swim jigs is at jig-monster.com they are called chaos swim jigs.

There are many different ways/situations/cover to swim a jig. #1 I like to swim a 1/2-1oz. jig deep bangin' it off the bottem like a crankbait. swimmin' a 1/4oz. through brush is pretty sweet also. Burn and kill in the tullies or along weed edges is a good one aswell. If your a jig fisherman you'll figure it out. just fish like you usualy do only with more reel and less rod.
