But the weights will be more than the last 2 derbies. The night bite will be on.

The day is very very tough right now. But I will continue to beat my head on a rock and keep going out.

There should be some good weights and lots of bites this tourny. I was up there till closing on Monday and the crankbait bite went off starting around 6:00pm. The day was so-so with only 2 fish but from 6:00pm - 7:30pm 11 crankbait fish fell for the DD-14. All were 2.2 - 4.7 pounds except 1 near 6lbs that spit it 5' from the boat. I'm going to close the place again tomorrow and will report back.

sorry everyone...been really busy trying to get a lot of crap done since I am getting laid off next Thursday, July 16th.

I haven't been able to really focus on anything but finding a new job and hoping things get better. Life's not been too friendly as of the last month or so.

But hopefully someone has work out there that I can get back into...

Last time i had a BAD week before a derby we weighed 38lbs....so my guess will be 29lbs. If not a little more.
