Default Need a new boat?

I keep wondering when they are going to come out with some serious incentives for people who want to buy a new boat?

Looks like evinrude has fired out a shot [urlhttp://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Media.Center/Contest/100thAnniversary.Promo.htm?popup=true[/url]

You obviously don't check Mercury and Yamaha's site. They all have promotions going.

Default Re: Need a new boat? Where are the deals?

Is there something I missed???????? The Merc deal is a warranty extension, that's no different than what they've done in the past. You can't register a new Yamaha 2-stroke in CA, so there is no reason to check their site. The Evinrude deal mentions special financing but the site doesn't list any details.

Anyone who doesn't have their head in the sand knows that boat sales have plummeted and dealers are closing. Pretty much same the scenario as the new car dealers only WORSE. So what I was wondering was where are the purchase incentives? Are we going to see big cash incentives from the factories or in house financing @ low % rates?

The promoter for the San Diego boat show said sales were hot on boats. I believe him.

I am running the yamaha 225 four stroke and it runs 67 mph the best thing is after four days of running at havasu 25 to 30 miles each day I only put twenty gallons of gas in it and no oil. never thought I would be happy with the four stroke won't own anything else.
