Default eastman lake

11/13/10
we had 16 bass between 2 to 4 pounds and 12 small bass between 7 to 11 inches total 28 bass on 1/4oz bullet head jigs light green pumpkin barbwire and 4" double tail and 5" single tail yamamoto watermelon red/black flake grubs as are trailers all the bass were caught in 18 to 30 feet of water out in front of the third ramp on the east side of the lake we got on the lake at 7:30 am and was off the lake at 2:45 pm traffic was very light.

still on main ramp day use side we go to the back or east side to launch 2 to 4 feet visabilty and has a green tintto the water getting up closer to the dam we stayed around the third ramp east side alot of good area to fish the bass are starting to school up key depth we found them was 18 to 30 feet.

update and 11 pound largemouth was caught off the dam area 11/15/10 nightcrawler in 30 feet of water there is pictures it was a nice fish also

1 more update the dfg is going to start planting trout soon im sure they will dump trout at both ramps the second ramp on the day use side will hold some big bass when they do dump the trout and also the east ramp the third ramp is also underwater enough that it will also bring the bigger fish up when they dump And with this weather holding up it should making for some good fishing.

Last year one of the Rangers told me it was going to opened soon. Never happened obviously.

as good as the fishing is right now you dont even need too start your big motor just drop the trolling motor off either ramp day use or east ramp you'll start catching fish there rain in the forcast next weekend i was hoping to get a half days at hensley and half day at eastman this saturday
