Yamamoto Big Bass
It was a great weekend for fishing the rainy weather turned the fish on big time.
It was great to hear the anglers say it's fun when your fishing with baits you have confidence in.
The first two hours of the first day it only took a 2lb fish to get a check it busted wide open after that. Charlie Dillard weighed a 10.26 to set the mark of big fish. Jason Borofkia (MSP) and his wife came on strong. Remember we are using Yamamoto and kinamie baits only. Did tell you they have poppers, buzz baits, lipless crank baits, rip baits, and more.
OK lets get to the catch, the big fish was caught on a Senko, there were many fish caught drop shotting 5inch and 6inch cut tail worms. Fish were caught on all of the Yamamoto baits.
The water was very clear the preasure stablizied. You would not believe the pre spawn fish caught!!!!!
Primary colors were 208,925,301,and 213. The buzz baits and the poppers worked great first thing in morning.
The bottom line is the water is clear and the fish are about 1 to 2 months behind, the weather is supposed to clear and get hot which means the pre spawners are going to the bank and there are a lot of them out there.
My wife has dinner ready so I got to go, call me at the Hook I will give you more info
