How the Hook was won
Tom Lutz and his partner have been on a role. They won their second Hook Tournament Sunday the 15th.
They were flippin Pepper Jigs in current along rock walls. It was a very tough bite for most people. We had 59 boats and only 7 limits (7 fish limit). Young Chris Lovejoy weighed in the Big Fish at 6.57 , Chris has been fishing the Hook Tournaments with his dad since he was about 8 he is now 17 years old and about 3 foot taller. Chris caught it on a Robo Margarita color worm drop shotting in dee[ water.
Another Father/daughter team of Chris and Karlie Trumbull weighed in a limit of nice small mouth, way to go Karly.
Most of the anglers said they caught their fish with jigs or by drop shotting and had one thing in common and that was deep water and current. Choice of color was black and blue jigs and MMII or Margarita color plactics.
I want to thank all the contestants for a great turn out and wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving.
