Dropped the boat in the water at Capell right around 9AM. Foggy, foggy, foggy. Stopped outside Capell Cove and put my navigation lights in for my run up north, the fog was super thick. First fish in the boat just before 10AM on the drop shot, a small 1.5lb largemouth. Next fish came about 45 minutes later also on the drop shot, a decent 2lb smallmouth. Headed into Putah Creek and caught another largemouth, this one was about 2lbs and was also caught on the drop shot. That was it for the day, boat back on the trailer at 2:30PM. Once the fog cleared a bit the lake became a mirror. All fish caught today were taken using a 4" MMIII using 6lb fluro. The bites were pretty aggressive today. Water temp ranged from 51-53 degrees and all fish were caught in 15' to 20' of water.
