Well we launched out of Paradise Point Marina (my first time launching there) and started fishing. Concentrating on rocky banks we picked up our first fish on a lipless crank (sexy shad color) it was small but a start to the day. We continued to fish the rocky bank concentrating on tule points ect. The next several fish came off of that area throwing plastics into the tules so we had a little pattern. We moved into Dissapointment again this is a new area for me so we were kinda looking around and had no luck in there but obviously someone was as we saw several boats in the area. We moved into Whites and found some more fish, again rocky banks and around tules. It was a slow day for us but considering we had never fished any of these areas I thought we did pretty good. Not much weight but it was a learning day.
Water temp was around 55 in the morning and topped out at around 58.
Things that worked. Plastics and lipless around rocky banks.
THings that did not work. Dropshotting, jigs.
