FLW Tour Table Rock
Since the Red River got cancelled Table Rock was the first event of the FLW Tour. I was extremely excited for it because I had previous success their qualifying for the Forrest Wood Cup at Three Rivers.
My practice was really bad. Honestly, I ran around way too much trying to get them to eat a few baits rather than slowing down and dissecting the areas that I believed held fish.
My main baits, were a Jackall Squad Minnow and an Original Storm Wiggle Wart. I caught fish on them but was never able to find a consistent bite.
The tournament was similar to my practice. I ended up 101st. It was awful, my lowest finish in my life and it was anchored by my first day blank. The next day I went out and switched it up and caught a lot fish with 2 keepers. This helped me figure out a pattern which I used on day 3 to catch another 2 keepers and lose at least 2 others.
If I could have gone back I would have fished a lot differently, condensing the lake down to one key area and fishing much more slowly.
