I'm in New York at Oneida Lake for the 4th time.
Oneida is a small lake, about 21 miles long and 4 wide. It reminds me of Clear Lake.
I'm going into this event in 30th place overall. The cut for the Classic is going to be around 37th so I've got a lot riding on this one!
Things have gone well during practice. 10lbs a day should be easy but I'm going to need 13lbs or more to be where I want to be. There is a lot of grass here and I've found that certain types of grass are holding the largemouth and certain types are holding the smallies. I'm keying in on areas that have grass and a hard rocky bottom.
My Triton boat is loaded with tackle and the rod locker is full of everything you can imagine. The weather has been changing each day, and when the weather changes the bite changes. My plan for tomorrow is to run all of my spots on the lake and to throw everything I have at them based on what the weather is doing at that moment.
You can watch the weigh-in live tomorrow at 4pm Eastern time @ http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/t...ts/elite/index
Wish me luck and I'll check back in with you all tomorrow.
