Default A sad day....

I heard you've won the U.S. Open before. If you had taken 2nd this year with the news that happened and been pushed to first place when 1st place got caught cheating, how do you think the win would have felt.

I know it's a black day on tournament fishing but would you ever have been able to savor the victory as much as the others?

I would have felt good about the 1st place win and doing a good job.

The sad part would be that it would take away from all the media hype and recognition from the win. That's a big part of winning...the recognition from your peers.

Let's hope that never happens to any of us. That would be a sad day.
