Default HDS & Navionics

I have a Platinum Navionics Chip and it seems to not read on both units as far as the depth contours, but I have the other functions from the Navionics on both units.
Will the HDS units read the Navionics Platinum chip from one unit to the other? I do have the complete network HDS 5, HDS 7, and Side Imaging....

Default Re: HDS & Navionics

A Navionics mapping card or any other proprietary mapping card will only be read by the unit it is in. The map data cannot be shared via any type of networking. If you want mapping on two different units then you will need two map cards. The mapping companies will not allow sharing between different units.
