Default no cal bass fishing questions

Im an avid bass fisherman from michigan that will be in the san fransisco area the beginning of december and I am looking to go on a guided bass trip within a three hour drive of san fran.

I am hoping some of you seasoned no cal bass anglers could point me in the direction of the best lakes and guides that can get me hooked into some 10 lb class or larger bass (rare to run into those here in michigan). I've looked at some guides on clear lake, but have also heard good things about dixon lake and don pedro lake, any thoughts?

Also, wondering if I have good chances that time of year to run into some big bass (8-15 lbs.) I prefer to use only artificial lures but am open to live bait if it drastically increases my chances of hooking into that 10+ pounder.

I would very much appreciate any suggestions or comments. Thanks

I've heard that Lake Sonoma can be good for 10lbs and up. Also try Lake Berryessa.

Default Matt Allen

Matt Allen for a big fish guide trip is a great choice, for the Delta Cooch or Bobby Barrack, Clear Lake Ross England
