Default Posting photographs and other images

Want to add a photo to your post but don't know how? Relax, there are 3 EASY ways to do it.

1. The photo is saved on your computer (just like adding an email attachment).

When posting a new topic or a reply, locate the + Additional Options... button and click it. Use the "Browse..." button to locate the file (image) you'd like to post. You may attach up to 3 files that are 200 KB or less in size. https://www.calbassin.com/Smf/index.p...;page=post#bbc

2. The photo is located somewhere on the web.

Found an image elsewhere on the net that you want to use? Place your cursor over the image and then Right-Click and select "Copy Image Location". In your post type "[ img ]" then Right-Click and select "Paste" then follow with "[ /img ]". *do not use any spaces between the "[" and "]" brackets. You can save a little time by clicking the box above the smileys that says "Insert Image", it will put the img tags in your post and you'll just need to paste the image location in between the tags. https://www.calbassin.com/Smf/index.p...ge=post#bbcref

3. Using a free web hosting site like www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com

Create an account on the hosting site. Follow their instructions and upload your photo(s) onto their site.

For photobucket; locate the image you want to post and click on "share", then click "get link code", below "IMG for bulletin boards & forums" right-click on either the "Full size" or "Clickable thumbnail", select "copy" and then paste that code into your post on CalBassin.

For imageshack; locate the image you want to post and then click on that image, a border should appear around it, then click on "Get code for forums", copy and paste the image code into your post.

*If all else fails just ask for help
