Greg,

The rubber back stuff is hard to work with in bass boats but for your application it should be fine. Be sure its a very warm dry day when you glue it otherwise you will have problems with it not sticking. Use indoor/outdoor carpet glue from Home Depot or Lowes or maybe the lumber place there in Lakeport will have it as well. You can also use contact cement but I have found for some reason that it is not best on the rubber back stuff.

Also, be sure you change blades every couple cuts. I know it seems like alot but they will dull fast and you will start getting crappy edges.

Glue it. That will be 5 dollars for that advice since this is classifieds.

Ordered Marine Carp[et for to pontoon. Its rubber backed. I assume I don't glue it but do I stretch it and tack it?
