Re: Looking for some equipment

I got reciepts from outdoor pro. It was a 6 thousand dollar claim. They where on the deck of my boat. I told the truth about what happened. Everyone told me to say they were in my lockers. Well they where right. Progressive gave me 400$ out of a 6grand claim because they weren't in a locked compartment. A hard pill to swallow.

Konocti resort broad daylight off the deck. Before a concert. Ballsey whoever did it. And insurance didn't cover it. 3 of the rods where brand new loomis with chronarchs. Still haven't recoverd from that lick. When I was living in Ky before I had a bass boat I had 2 tackle boxes stolen out of my car at this spillway, real public place. One box was full of antique lures my grandad had given me. This was stuff I shouldn't had been haulin around. I found them 6 months later in a pawn shop.

Re: Looking for some equipment

So in trying to keep to the subject and not thread jack? I was wondering how many guys have had this equipment stolen issue and used there boat insurance to replace it? I know some insurnace plans like Fish On insurance has coverage for graphs, rods, etc.. Anybody ever used that service, and how did the process go, did you need reciepts for all your gear?

I had a friends rods get jacked. He had a lot of really nice set ups. Ever since then I have taken extra care of my tackle. People are scandalous, especially in this economy. ALWAYS take your rods in and park where you can keep an eye on them. That sucks man. I feel your pain.

Re: Looking for some equipment

I had rods ripped off my rig at konocti last summer. All it takes is a split second and it's not worth the pain and suffering! Lock your **** up everytime I had to learn it the hard way. And if it is locked and they still get it then insurance will cover it. There is a special place in **** for those that steal fishing tackle. s!!!!!!!

Just that fast huh? I've left mine in the truck too long but just been lucky. Good reminder. Sorry for your loss.

Man, I feel for you..I had all my gear taken from my garage several years ago, nothing like having to start all over again..The chances of getting any of it back are just about nil..

Looking for some equipment

On my way back from new melones I stopped at a gas station in lodi to use the pisser and when I came out, all my rods and reels were gone out of the back of my truck ... so if anyone has some used older curados/chronarchs for sale I will be happy to take them off your hands. Only looking for reels in better condition.

any help would be great.
