Re: Mid Range Side Imaging and Down Imaging Images

This one has two temps because the Temp is the water Temp and Aux Temp is my Livewell Water Temp.

In the DI Images the top line is the Quick Visual Temp Bar that shows temperature trends represented by the black line. IF the Temperature was rising the line would be angled upwards, if it was cooling it would be angled downward so you could quick recognize changes in water temperature without having to focus on the numbers and remember what the reference temperature was.

Re: Mid Range Side Imaging and Down Imaging Images

1) those are standing trees - that have lost most of the limbs out of the tops

5) THe reason it is dark on the right edge is because there is ridge or raised bank rnear the creek and drops as you move away - kind of like a natural levee. Since sonar cannot bend around corners you can tell this is raised because the sound wave can bend over to read the bottom. Plus this image is being shot in 800kHz frequency which has 110° coverage area with the sound waves more focused down than the 455kHz frequency which is focused to cover 180° from surface to the directly below the transducer.

Yes there is a school of fish on the rocks...good eye!

Can you spot any more fish???? Several of the other images have fish in them....let see who can find them...
