Report: We got on the lake by 10:30 am and started off working the third ramp on the east side of the lake in 15 feet of water the first bass landed by dewayne lucckesi was a 2 pound fish then we started moving into deeper water as deep as 30 feet and pickup several 9 to 11 inch bass before i landed a 3 pound bass we use 1/4 oz. bullet head jigs also 3/8 oz. football head jigs in light green pumpkin/barbwire and 4" twin and 5" single tail yamamoto 208 watermelon red/black flake grubs as are trailers. After 4 or 5 more 9 to 11 inch bass dwayne started carolina rigging a 6" kepper worm 082 red and green flake worm and landed a couple more bass about 1 1/2 pounds each. Then we pickup up and moved across the lake on the day use side and started fishing the second ramp in 18 feet of water and dwayne pick up a 3/8 football head jig in the light green pumpkin/barbwire and caught the big bass of are short day tipping the scale at 5 pounds we fished about 30 minutes on the day use side and then moved back too the east ramp where i put one more 11 inch bass in the boat and then we loaded the boat up and was off the water by 2:30 pm the weather was sunny a slight breezy at times very few boats. We still had fun even catching more smallier bass this trip over all still a good day. The week ahead calls for colder weather but you should still be able too land some nice bass here.

Tips: Fish slow in the deeper water jigs brushogs worms will all work
