eastman lake 4/26/11
The bass are still on a good jig bite and baby brushog bite. Bass from 2 to 3 1/2 pounds were caught over the weekend and yesterday. Fish are shallow in 3 to 10 feet of water and are holding in small trees and in grassy areas. 1/8oz jigs & 4" twin tail grubs as trailers and baby brushogs on 1/4oz bullet head jigs or carolina rigged both work. watermelon red/black colors or green pumpkin colors are working well. there a real good bet you can land 20 fish in a couple of hours fishing here. Trout are starting to show on the surface also a few have been caught up to 20 inches castmasters roostertails meeps spinners are all working and small rebel minnows will also land trout. call for more info on the lake closing may 2nd 559 689 3255
