Re: Delta update

They are in Disco Bay and on the bouy in the main river. Thats another reason we can't find stripers.

Great report Gene!

Are the sea lions still a problem in that area?

Delta update

Water temp has dropped a bit due to the over cast skies. We just went through another spawn, yes we did, You can find fish in fast current on points with frogs and flipping sweet beavers or brush hogs. Darker colors seem to be working better.
The Senko bite is very good on rock walls with grass beds in front of them. During the FLW I was throwing a 7" #208 senko at a high out going tide to get my limit.
The swim bait bite is off and on, MS Slammers and Osprey have been working best along with the mission fish. When the tide is out, drop shotting in the middle of the weeds have been working well if you want to catch numbers of fish it has not produced very many big fish. When the sun gets high punching the Hyeichyn (msp) has produced larger fish. The early morning bite has been good with buzz baits and Rico's over top of grass beds.
Good Luck. Gene
