the melting point of lead is 328 deg and the melting point of tungsten carbide is 2870 deg

I just dip mine in dip dye. for as long as the weight lasts before i loos it, it works for me, fast simple.

You can't hurt them in a normal oven, just make sure there is no insert in them.

FWIW I powder painted some drop shot weights once but I'll never do it again. What a pain!

Painting bullet weights

For you that have baught bulk tungsten can you bake them at a higher temp then you can lead. I don't see why not but just wanted to make sure first. I know powder coating is alot stronger if you can bake it between 350 and 400 degrees. Just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks
