Merritt does do a fine job but I gotta say there aint a bigger Robo fan than me! Gimme an Aarons Magic and an 1/8 oz darter ANYWHERE and I'll show you a limit! Hey Inman does....cant remember his name but Ken sumthin still make Buddy Baits? I think he was in like.....Tranquility or somewhere in that general area? Ken was an AWESOME guy and had tremendous color combos that worked well everywhere I have ever fished 'em!

Re: Who pours the best hand poured worms

Hands Down Pro-Worms . Sandy does a great job and the quality control is above every other. From the time she pours, she lays them straight to cure for no less than four days. The way she packages them keeps them straight as an arrow too. Have you ever looked at worms in a package where they are not laying straight, they are messed up, or have kind of an s wave to them when you take them out of the pakage. That is usauly because they are packed to quick and soft plastic take and hold there shape. What ever shape that may be. If a hand pour has any curves or kinks in it you are going to be looking at a lot more line twist than a perfectly straight worm. Also with other brands one package may be perfect, the next may be slightly under poured so the bottom is actualy a bit cupped or shallow, not perfetly flat or even rounded a bit from over pour. Every package of Pro-Worms is exactly the same. By the way, they already have the 8" spade tail worm.

Call and talk with Stephen at Basschow. Everything I have gotten from him has been flawless and the colors he offers you will not find anywhere. Worms offer lots of action with minimal angler input, yet very durable.

Another vote for Mothers Finest Like Scott H, said #39 gets bit everywhere another great color of theirs is called osprey (I cant remember the color number off hand) and their square tail swimbaits flat out catch 'em too!

Don't know if a Socal guy is allowed to put in a vote, but Uptons worms out here are good. I don't know if he sells a worm under 8 inches though.

Maverick. Period. Look for them to release the smitty special. Awesome worm for the delta and clear lake. C rig it, Flip it, T rig it, shakey head it.
