So whats the chip for the Delta? For tides and mapping / contours?

I have both chips and dont use the 3D features. I dont care for it. The photo overlay is only on land and doesnt do much good. It only slows down the rendering process. The 3D shading makes the topography hard to read when zoomed in. Save your money and just get the regular premium chip.

Navionics Platinum 3D Lake Maps, for HDS units
So who out there is using this card on there HDS units? Is the 3D maps that much better than the 2008 Platinum lake maps in 2D? For Clearlake, Oroville, Berry?

Basically is it worth the extra coin?
