Watch out the Governor hear you talk about the squaw fish and might put together a research team to find out if they are a native fish so he can wast more of the tax payers money!!

Anglers be ware Shasta has been invaded by the Hook Rats there are about 12 of them up there on vacation and 5 more going up next week.
They won't harm you but if confronted by a Hook Rat offer them a Beer or food and you will be ok
Thanks

I was there Ed, but ****, if you caught 14 there, I'm gonna bow down to ya.. it was tougher for us

See you out on the water. Make sure you guys stop into Phil's and get the skinny on the baits and best swimbaits for the lake.. There are some sweet ones in the store.

Oh, and I forgot to add, on Saturday I saw close to 30lbs swimming around in a particular spot. It really is exciting. Come up and enjoy the lake in it's most beautiful state.. only 10ft from the top today!!!!

No Shasta reports?

Just looked at Fishing reports. Nothing for Shasta? Whats up with that? I haven't read anything about a gag order in place. I know snap was there and probably a few more regulars. With WCB comming this weeknd and the air temps in the 80's I spect the bite will be wide open. But no reports? Guys theres nothing to hide. This is Shasta. I understand Tommy Cordoza had a big bag @ USAC on Sunday, yet no word on his success. (Congratulations Tommy )

Well I went for 3 days, and the bite was all over the place. Caught em on swimbaits, drop shots, steep drops, points, creek channels, willows, you name it I caught em. Even took an 8lbr off a spot. Exciting until i got it to the boat.

(Squawfish ) Best day was 14 n change.

Wanna have some fun. come on up for WCB..

PS If you can't make it watch the weigh live in on the puter.
