Re: Mark Mendez caught breaking rule at his own tourney........???

Once when fishing a tourny by myself. I thought I had only 3 fish in the boat. I fished up until the last last chance to make it back. I checked my fish before leaving my spot to my surpprise I had a 4th fish. Did not put me in the money but was glad I made the mistake.
I always try to check the fish often to make sure they are still healthy and kicking. Making sure all the pumps are working an so forth.
Being new to tourny's I go out and partitice just like a tourny. With all the rules and things that take place. Even launching the boat, returning to weigh-ins. Most of the time I do not put fish in the livewell but do run them just to make sure I will not forget.
I am sure we all try hard not to forget any of the things that make tourny fishing great. Like golf it is one of the few sports that we police ourselves. When on the water you do not know how your competors are doing but have to do the best you can.
I hope that after 93 plus post everyone is a little more aware and will continue to make this a great sport for all to enjoy the game.

Cover up. Sounds like you guys would go to **** for each other. That makes everyone defending him questionable about your integrity.

From AC's rules for too many fish: "you will be subject to disqualification."

I don't read that as being up to the td's discretion, but I guess you could interpret it that way. I would think if it was discretionary, the word "will" would have been replaced by the word "may".

Ranger Jockey made a good point, lets see the best 5, however no boat should exceed the legal limit. as he said who cares, how many times can you beat a dead horse? This topic was worn out days back. Seems to me like fallout from the weighted fish from the U.S. Open that scenerio should be put to rest with caution......

But hey, let's just make everything a 2oz penalty and then you can do whatever you want and just get docked 1/2 lb at the end for breaking all the rules. Then you won't have to pay the ultimate price for not following them. ****, let's just dock everybody (they all break the rules anyway, right?) 1/2lb at the end of the day and throw the rules away. No whining, no B!#%Hing, no protests and you won't have to feel bad for seeing someone breaking a rule and reporting it. I believe this is called whining.

TOBE, TOBE, TOBE, TOBE

Hey Hiser... it does make you feel better, doesn't it?
Brian, this is only funny when Hiser does it. And no, he will not like you any better just because your sucking up to him!
