Do you have your unit updated with the latest FREE software from humminbird.com? If not do so it will benefit you greatly. Switchfire which is also called TVG (Time Variable Gain) is under the sonar tab. IF your unit says TVG you need to upload your latest software..

Hi Dan,

Try these settings

Switchfire MAX
Dual Beam
Crank the sensitivity up a good bit.

Drop your spoon.

If you do it right this is what you will see.





My spoon hit the top of the timber.. Almost out of line

Seeing line and lure

I have a humminbird 797c2 on the bow and iam trying to get it to read my line and lure. Have adjusted the sensitivty with little success. only see line and lure sometimes.
