I believe all this has nothing to do with how many hits were on what site about what topic. It all has to do about how to handle fish period. Anyone, anyone can go to DFG website, or email them if you are honestly curious on how they recommend to handle Bass. Here is the response I recieved from DFG when I emailed them.
If 2,3 or even 4000 people care to read posts on here, maybe the same people should read DFG websites on fish care and how to handle bass. It seems we all have the time to internet this site, how about spending time reading a DFG site and see what they know and really do and are paid to know and do. I bet it will open your eyes !!!!!!!!!!

Hello Phil,

Thanks for asking about improved fish care for tournament caught black bass. You are doing well with the equipment and efforts you have described. I have attached a couple of pamphlets that are posted on the DFG web site. One is quite long, but does provided some excellent detail about fish care techniques. The other document is a paraphrased version of the first and might be a could resource to hand out to your anglers. One thing that cannot be stressed enough this time of year is that warm water can not hold as much oxygen as colder water. Monitor the temperature in your bump tanks and ensure that it is well oxygenated.

Also, remind anglers to 'pop' or 'fizz' their fish as early after capture as possible. Study by Texas Parks & Wildlife in 2009-10 has shown that 'fizzing' fish increased post tournament survival by 14%. They also advocate 'fizzing' the fish from the side. Attempting to 'fizz' through the mouth is discourage because of possible damage to vital organs. There are serveral videos on 'fizzing' fish on U-Tube.

I hope you find this literature helpful, and let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

I prefer brownies, but twinkies work well too.

FPT should run tournaments, but they should change the name, drop the qualifications, change the payout, add a Clear Lake region, and possibly just cutout the tourneys which run during the hottest months. I wouldn't mind fishin against 100 boats again.

On a more serious note, it seems like we have less dead fish at our night tournies. The water is a little bit cooler. Maybe they could change the July-Aug. tourneys to night tournies, or maybe throw a winter one in there or something. It's lack of effort on the anglers, but the hot weather does not help, whether your live well is cool or not. Sh$^ happens, but I don't think there are that many careless anglers out there, "future pro's" or not.

BTW, Vince followed through and the life jacket from that online game did show up. Thank you for following through.

Maybe only 73 FPT fishermen read this site.

That's why I said in the post that I would do a seminar but only 10 people would show up. Now you understand that it is up to the anglers to go get educated. If you can figure out a way to do it let them know
