Sorry for the hijack but I have a MBR842 GLX for sale. Posted last week. will let it go for $225 shipped. Someone should jump on this good of a deal.

844 is good for 1/2 oz tp 1 oz jigs.. 1/4oz - 1/2oz i use a BCR863.
842 is an awesome 8-10lb T-rig rod. I use it as a small rip bait rod when fishing smallies. I know guys prefer glass, but i havent found a glass rod i like yet, the softer bend of the 842 vs. 843 allowed the smallies to stay pinned more often.

probably one of those shallow cranking/spinnerbait $$$expensive$$$ rods...??
but yeah the 844 is great...everybody owns one except me...so jealous.
i use a 4x4 for my jig rod(not that sensitive but i use my bruised finger for any light bites)

The rod you want to trade for is the 844. However it maybe is the greatest jig rod....or at least in the discussion for greatest jig rod.

It makes a good stick to get the dog out from under the bed or at least my wife thought so. It's a good 2 PIECE ROD now.

Thanks for the replies. I just wish i had got a medium heavy instead of a medium....but I will try and put this rod to better use! Unless anybody wants to trade a MH for it?????

I have 2 that I use for skaking worms, baby Brush Hawgs, etc. Great rod for 1/4oz jigs with 10lb fluoro.

If it is a mbr842 glx it is good for smaller jigs (1/4 oz), t-rig also good for the weightless senko, IKA rig, cranks. It is limber but has power in its own way.
